I think the xG captured the location of the shots which were great - but it missed the low quality of the actual shots - only one of the headers actually had any sort of chance
i, too, was surprised at how dominant city were. i watched two of the coachella matches and was fearing the worst for this season. so, on saturday night i was very positive about the performance; especially the afermentioned kessler (motm!) and bescher's work of off klauss and hertel.
as i am not familiar with colorado's squad, can you speak to the 6 (a # i read online) changes from the lineup in colorado's lineup from the previous wednesday? were they upgrades (let's prioritize the league) or downgrades (let's go for the knockout trophy)?
Ten out of eleven who started on Wednesday also started in STL. It's early in the season, so fitness levels aren't quite there, but this was a solid lineup.
Great discussion! I was a little surprised about the xG and xGA
Surprised by the firsts, or surprised by how much CITY dominated the match in those areas?
surprised by the firsts I think if we continue to create chances like that and also have the solid defense, it could be a good year
